I’m going to plant a lemon tree
And make those lemons come to me
It’ll grow up from a seed
And I’ll have more than I’ll ever need

I’m going to find a honey bee
And we will start an apiary
We’ll make honey on solar power
And sweeten up the lemons when they get too sour
When they get too sour

I’ll be the keeper of the bees
I’ll be the grower of the lemon trees
And at night when I fall to my swollen knees

I’m going to need tea leaves, too
To boil in a pot when I’m feeling blue
When the trees all freeze and the lemons die
And the bees swarm off into the sky
